The fashion industry has finally decided to catch up to the fact fat girls are worth billion's...yes billions of dollars. Why do I call it fat fashion? So glad you asked. For years, designers and buyers kept the runways were full of skinny fashions for industry models and celebrities. Trending fashions for the skinny and skinnier. Meanwhile, neglecting the average woman size 16 to 22 and totally ignoring any size over 26-28, leaving the fat girls to fend for ourselves. Creatively forced to seek other means of defining fat fashion, plus size, curvy women and designers should be credited for the current TRENDING cash cow coins being made from the same women neglected in fashion for several years.
Go Plus Size GO! If you are blessed to be a member of the curvy plus size community there are a few things you must know. We were never out of style, we were just ignored. We were never ugly, but never given credit for being beautiful. We were never undesirable, but hated in the media. Fat has never been wrong. Fat has never been ugly. I have been a fat girl all my life. The word "fat" has been used to make women feel bad about themselves for years. It has been a weapon insinuating fat women are not good enough the way they are. Well, I'm not going to hate my body any more and neither should you. Fat or not, I am going to love my curves - my fat - my body - my hips - my lips - my hair - my face and everything in between! I URGE YOU TO DO THE SAME. My fat girl status is NOT a scare but a beauty mark! Check out a few pictures from the 2015 fat girl runway show I produced in Greensboro. It was epic...
